Item Status is not Changing on bases of product id

Hi All,

In OVP item Status is not Changing. It is always be in status 'Open'. when i select Part Call Product id,  it will change as ' Pending for Part', but it

is not changing. Whether item status should configure on Bases of Header Status. Please give some solution???
