BADI ORDER_SAVE exception DO_NOT_SAVE

Hi,

 

I have coded in badi ORDER_SAVE to check if the "Reason" field in the complaint is blank or not.

If it is blank, I am populating an error message and then raising DO_NOT_SAVE exception so that it does not gets saved.

 

The problem is, when the "Reason" field is blank it gives an error, but when we fill the reason field again and save it gives an error "No Status object is available" . The system refreshes the status object and there is not data to be selected in "Status" field.

Please help.
