Changing Workflow Item Number Range

Hi Experts,

 

We have an SAP CRM IC implementation and when the agent searches in Inbox with a unique Object ID, there are two values returned - one for emails (which is a workflow item number) and other for the service request transaction. This is because the workflow item number has overlapped with the Service Request transaction number range. This is creating confusion for the agents. Request you to suggest the right approach of a) whether we should change the workflow number range or b) should we change the service request number range?

 

I am apprehensive about changing the workflow item number range and want to understand the impact it can have.
