it is a standard SAP concept ( and a very good one):
- different users may work on the sames SAP CRM system
- these users may work on different place in the world
- by the way we need to timestamp by an unique way all order creation.
The server is located to a place, it takes the time of this place. Everyone creating a document will have a timestamp corresponding to time Application Server.
After due to user settings on web ui the time AS is converted to Time zone user (indicated into SU01).
when you use FM CRM_ORDER_READ the conversion is not done.
